![]() Maintains an awareness of student concerns through relationships with Resident Assistants and one on one engagement with resident students through activities and meetings within the residence hall.Assist in the process to meet enrollment goals and expectations for each year.Work with Head Coach to develop a high quality recruitment program supported with a written, well defined plan including recruitment, scheduling, contacts and results.Participate with each Head Coach in scheduling, organizing and attending practices and games.Under the general direction of the Head Women’s Soccer Coaches, provide individual and group instruction focused on the technical improvement of the individual, with preference given to those with goal keeping experience.Travel to recruiting events and away events as needed as coordinated with RH schedule.Assist in the evaluation of player performance.Able to refer students to appropriate resources in a timely fashion when appropriate. Be first resource for resident students and student-athletes for crisis/conflict management.Develop expertise in and enforce College and departmental policies and procedures including student conduct code, gender-based misconduct and athletics department policies.Experience building positive and effective relationships with colleagues and students across a diverse college population required.Must be willing to live in a non-smoking residence hall apartment provided by the college.United States Soccer Federation (USSF) or National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Coaches License preferred.Ability to relate and supervise young people, residence hall experience preferred.Successful coaching and playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred.Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.Indian Hills Community College is committed to excellence, success, service, integrity, community, innovation, diversity, and inclusion. During the week (Sunday-Wednesday), the Residence Hall Supervisor must be available 24 hours a day to respond to emergency situations in housing. The Assistant Coach/RH Supervisor is required to be on an on-call rotation and must be available during the following on-call rotation hours to respond to emergency situations. Hours will include some day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. ![]() This employee will be expected to maintain a work schedule that will maximize contact with students, often before and after scheduled on-call rotation hours. ![]() The Assistant Coach/RH Supervisor is required to live in the apartment provided on-campus. The Assistant Coach/RH Supervisor maintains superior working relationships and communications within the department and with other college departments and personnel in order to carry out, with positive results, the mission of the college. The primary goal of this position is to establish an environment that is conducive to the academic and non-academic development of students. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for creating a residence hall community that allows students to grow collectively and individually. Further, this individual will have oversight of goal keeper training and game preparation. The Assistant Coach/RH Supervisor will assist in the recruitment and develop student-athletes, assist in the organization of all facets of the Women’s Soccer program, including but not limited to practice and game organization, travel arrangements, recruiting, scheduling, budgeting and soccer fundraising. Indian Hills Community College is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in the leadership of the Women’s Soccer program and oversee a residence hall facility, dealing with day to day issues, working with residents to provide a safe setting and providing programming for students to experience the total college experience. ![]()
